Army player’s mom hosted and fed Army’s players La cuisine, son graduated from Catholic

The Advocate - Back in January, nine months before LSU hosted Army for the first time this weekend, Veronica Finucane began coordinating with Army football staff members to provide food once the team arrived in BR. Finucane’s son, Connor is a team captain as a senior and a three year starter on the offensive line who went to Catholic in BR.
The meal has been in the works ever since. A close family friend with a catering company made chicken and dumplings, red beans and rice, and chicken and sausage gumbo. Veronica even included a baby bottle of Tobasco for everyone. “I made it my mission to make sure we fed the team,” she said.
TTT- LSU fans tailgating, when you see Army fans and alumni, invite them over to enjoy La cuisine as well. It’s what the people of Louisiana do, it’s what families of our young men dedicated to serving our country deserve.

Nothing says LA cuisine like chicken and dumplins.

Oh! What a novel suggestion! Unlike all the other games, maybe THIS time we'll invite the opposing fans to join in the fun and food, instead of pelting them with piss balloons.
So glad they let us know what we should do
ETA: I thought this was the bAdvocate writing this article.
Sorry TTT. I can't stand the bAdvocate

I thought this thread was about the Army mom ordering take out from a restaurant in Lakeview called La Cuisine... but it looks like it closed after Katrina.

I honestly can't wait for this game to be over. The shite like this that I've been reading all week has gotten nauseating. This whole "we have the classiest fans" obsession is weird.

They do this for every team, why would Army be any different?

Proud of the respect given by LSU toward Army and their fans.
