again...the public schools could just offer better facilities, coaching etc

all the private school is doing with offering a scholarship is evening the playing field.

Dunno why yall are always screaming about different rules when obviously parents dont want to send their kid to the shitty free school and are willing to take a 2nd mortgage out to get their kid into a good private.

This may be, like travel ball, another situation where SW LA and SE LA operate differently.

In SE LA, most of the private schools have terrible facilities, if they have sports facilities at all. They may have some better coaches, but those coaches have to put up with a lot of political BS inside the schools.

People go to the private schools here in SE LA because they want to go to the private schools, and yes, recruiting does happen.
