Nothing over the top, just said that he is sure the Reyna family is enjoying Gio’s performance while watching from home tonight.
With everything that has happened, just felt like he had to make sure he forced it in there as time expired. He just brought it up out of nowhere.

Ah got it
How serious do you think the team for Paris will be?
We have so many great players 23 and under who play with the real team. I hope they are chosen for Paris if they don’t play in the Copa.
For example, if Lund is on the Copa roster, I hope Scally plays in the Olympics (or vice versa).

Broski I am calling you out what did we play with Gio on the field against Canada and Mexico in Nations League? It was not a 4-3-3. BJ's instructions to Gio were to drop in deeper so he could have more of the ball. This is exactly what happened in the first half of this game.

I don’t think we’re bringing in many big names if any. They just started a match with Japan right now.

You are legit one of the dumbest posters on this board. You just don’t fundamentally understand the game if you think we overhauled tactics from the 1st to the 2nd half.

Answer the question I posed.

Nah, because every time I answer your questions, you twist it.

You legit think you know more than you do.

Lol, says the guy who said “argue with google”

And fotmob. There are people that legitimately analyze soccer games for money and both sites say you were wrong.

Lol, futmob is an AI.
They had the formation listed as a 4-2-3-1 before the match even started because Gio is listed as an AM, so the XI automates based on players’ listed position. Again, watch the match, Gio was more of an 8 than a 10 and McKennie was roughly occupying those same spaces he was when he came in.
So, based on the average positions, why do you think we shifted to a 4-3-3 in the 2nd half, is it just because you saw we subbed off Gio for McKennie?
Regardless, there is not much of a difference between the two formations tactically.

Lol huh?
This is yet another weird melt from you. Have a good night, champ. It’s a new day tomorrow.

You think maybe the commentators had a chance to talk with GGG about how he planned to play and perhaps they posted with input?

Sorry, I meant the actual Olympic lineup.
Even with no Gio, Brendan Aaronson, Dest, Musah, Pepi, or Balogun (all of whom are Olympic eligible, I believe), I hope to see Slonina, Scally, Lund, Tolkin, Bryan Reynolds, Caleb Wiley, Johnny Cardoso, Cremaschi, Busio, Malik Tillman, Cade Cowell, Jesus Ferreira, and Taylor Booth in the Olympics.
This is assuming that none of these guys even play in the Copa America, and in 5 minutes, I created a legit A team that has none of them seeing meaningful minutes.
Eta: And Kevin Paredes and Paxton Aaronson.

Yeah I know, I just think the final roster will largely be pulled mainly from our recent U23 camps, especially since clubs don’t have to release guys for the Olympics. Maybe a few first team guys that qualify, but I don’t think it will be many. Interested to see what overage picks will be. Probably MLS guys.
ETA: Reynolds should be in, he’s captaining the squad right now.

That’s very disappointing.
So Tillman, Paredes, Bryan Reynolds, etc will be given nothing meaningful for no reason?

I just finished watching it. It was definitely a 4-2-3-1 in the first half. It was a 4-3-3 after half when Wes came on.
