Pool safety alarm for kids

Anyone have any alarm or device to let you know if your kid get in pool or any other kind of way to keep your kids out besides a gate? Trying to plan for next summer when the little one will be a lot more mobile

Legit UL 2017 certified alarms for gates. They are annoying but loud and should get your attention. We had some to pass pool inspection but took them down afterwards bc they were a pain. My kids are all older so its not a big deal. But if I had young kids, I would definitely have kept them.

My dad had one. Not sure what kind, but he didn’t use it long. Idk what the problem was. Crawfish Aquatics swimming lessons as soon as the little kids were old enough made it so he took off the alarm.

We researched and ended up putting hotel style locks on our doors extra.
Simple. Too high for him to reach. By the time he could reach them he was going outside by himself.

We put spring loaded hinges on our door with a child proof door knob. Our concern was our older kids leaving the door open and the baby wandering outside. We thought about an alarm system that detects break in the water, but if we were in our room when the alarm went off, we wouldn't be able to get to the pool in time.

We put in our pool when my kids were very young as well. I installed Ring cameras in the backyard and setup motion alerts around the pool. I also put a chime on the back door. The kids couldn't go outside without us knowing whether we were home or not.
