I’m talking about what came across Twitter.
I get that. I’m asking whether you understand that those videos are largely of the aftermath of the attack?
There aren’t many videos of the attack starting in the villages.

There’s just no way that you actually believe that anyone without mental illness is just “ready” to fight off armed attackers at 6:30 am on a weekend without any type of warning.
It’s simply not real life.

Israel is one of the most armed places on earth.
This is wrong…

As the 2023 Israel-Hamas war continued into its third day, and with the widely distributed and traumatic images of Hamas terrorists operating freely inside Israel fresh in their minds, some citizens began campaigns for a loosening of Israel’s gun ownership laws, to allow more residents to bear personal arms.
They do not have the 2a.

Depends where they targeted.
The deaths in southern Israel were only limited by the population of the farming communities that were attacked.

How so? Nothing in your quote refutes it.

They have gun control laws.
Stop being a moron.
quote:
Gun control in Israel is relatively strict, and firearm licenses are generally only granted to those who can show a need for extra security in their line of work or daily life. Meaning, one of the key criteria for a private citizen to receive permission to own a gun is where they live.
quote:
“Who has a gun? The terrorists, and all the criminals. Who doesn’t? Law-abiding tax-payers. The government trusts criminals with guns more than their own civilians,”
quote:
Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir announced on Sunday he has ordered officials responsible for issuing gun licenses to broaden its standards. As the death toll inflicted by terror group Hamas grew to over 600, Ben-Gvir said he wants more Israelis to be able to legally arm themselves. “Today I directed the Firearms Licensing Division to go on an emergency operation in order to allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves,” he posted, according to a Google translation. “The plan will take effect within 24 hours.”

I have a loaded AR beside my bed. I have a bail out bag in my master closet about 8 steps away. And I’m averagely prepared at best. I know plenty of guys more switched on than me. Edit: They’re all normal family men as i , not loons.

Civilian firearm possession rate:
US - 120.50
Israel - 6.70

Lol @ that homie. The second WWIII kicks off, everything is getting hit with an EMP, Internet servers will be bombed and power grids will be instantly destroyed. We will be fighting in a more primitive stage than WWI

Did I state that they didn’t? Having gun control laws in no way whatsoever prevents Israel from being a relatively well armed society, which is what my claim was.
Do they have as many guns as we do? No, and no one said they did.

Good for you. If a dozen armed men storm your house at dawn on a Saturday, you and your family would still be killed.

Well, you said this...

Israel is one of the most armed places on earth.
...in response to this...

Our 2nd amendment right is the biggest reason this doesn't happen in the US.
Did you have some other point?
They're not one of the most well-armed places on earth. Not even close.

My point is that having personal arms isn’t worth a frick against dozens of heavily armed gunmen.

So Israel isn’t one of the more armed societies on earth? Their numbers relative to the US are totally irrelevant.

It's worth a hell of a lot more than not having them, especially when that rate goes way up...which is the point.

And yet it wasn’t. They killed everyone anyway. The kibbutzim have security personnel and people who are armed and able to be mustered for this type of thing. They were overwhelmed by numbers and being hit when they were hit.
Why are you pushing back so hard on the notion that small numbers can be overwhelmed? I don’t really get what you’re even arguing.
I’m saying that the second amendment wouldn’t save you in this situation. There’s only so many trigger fingers in a group.
