Sorry to hear about your problem still.

I'm curious.

Since this is the 5th thread (by my count) you've started on this board about being depressed about something going on in your life, like your divorce, does it help? Have you gotten any advice from posters that you've tried and it made you less depressed afterwards? Or, is it just by conversing with other people, it gives you some relief?

A little of both. Most of what’s said is what I would say to someone else going through the same issues. Find a hobby, seek the Lord, go to a gym, etc. I find the motivation lacking to do those things, but the conversations on here are helpful. For the most part, there’s good people on this board. Just reading supportive posts helps me. Last night was the first night I stayed up later. Today was the first day I rolled out of bed with a purpose in quite some time. I did get to the gym. I did eat a healthier meal. I slept a decent amount of time and didn’t overdo it. Many small victories in this day.
