Everyone goes into a hoopla when North Korea got a missile, same with Iran trying to. Was there that kind of backlash when Pakistan was getting them? Idk how in the hell the world allowed Pakistan to have them.

Yeah, as well as other countries have eliminated some as well too correct?
I’m not aware of any nation other than SA which gave up their own domestic nuclear weapons program. Some of the Soviet republics transferred weapons to Russia after the USSR collapsed, but those weapons were part of the Soviet program, not homegrown Ukrainian or Kazakh, etc.

Most don’t have ICBM capabilities that can strike the US.
China didn't until the Clintons sold them the technology for campaign cash.

That is just a terrible thing to say. I wish it wasn't true.

No I meant Japan on their own. I’m sure we provided tech and support, but they have all the pieces for their own domestic program. It’s just against their public policy for now to actually develop it.

Let’s not pretend like China wouldn’t have stolen the tech by now anyway.

I didn’t know that. Frightening.

They worked jointly with Israel on the program. I don't know what the official paperwork looks like, but I always assumed they turned everything over to Israel.

Isreal has plenty of nuclear weapons.

They paid most of the costs of Pakistan's program. They view that as Sunni Islam's nuclear capacity.

I'd rather them steal the technology than have it sold to them by a candidate for POTUS.

Not any weirder than the fact that Germany doesn't. Starting world wars has consequences.

Japan's post-WWII constitution states that they may not ever have nuclear weapons, nor may they spend more than 2% of their GNP on defense. This was included as a part of their constitution with the understanding that the United States would defend them in the event of a future attack that may threaten their sovereignty.

They don’t even have a military, they are only allowed to have a self defense force although it’s been in talks of changing. They don’t need them anyway and are completely attached to our hip militarily

Looks like the US is the only Nation with a shrinking number of nukes, France and Isreal are even and every other nation is increasing their supply.
