Moderates tend to flee either party if it is perceived to be going on an ideological bender. Clearly, irrefutably, The Democrats have gone over the edge. Covid, The border. Tranny fetishization. Crime. Weaponization of the unelected bureaucracies. Unequal application of the law. And of course they are most importantly being blamed for fiscal policy that has led to inflation (even though both parties are guilty here). The moderates will overwhelmingly vote AGAINST the Dems in 2024. People aren't just pissed, they are UNNERVED. There is a Leftist-induced Anxiety that has spread across the culture. People feel like that the end is nigh. The bottom is not holding. Decline feels inevitable and Dems are hastening it. It's unprecedented in my lifetime.
