Was this the guy that was living in Qatar that kept going on TV stating that they would keep attacking isreal?
Extremely dumb to think that they would not drone strike a country that's openly attacking them with misses as the Hezbollah are doing in Lebanon. Hamas is not good at this war thing

Seems like day by day the M.E. inches closer to complete unraveling.

Israel's Rafael Advanced Defense Systems successfully unveils its latest weapon system, the Spyder AiO, it designed and developed. It is the Spyder air defense system built in a new configuration in which the components of the anti-aircraft missle system are integrated on a single wheeled platform.
This will render the Patriot System as functionally obsolete and puts Lockheed and Raytheon (the competition) really far behind in the global defense business. The US Gov't has spent more than $2.7 billion trying to develop this same system.
Strangely enough, the US started buying Patriot Missiles from Japan a few weeks ago The Hill

Interesting ....... The USS Gerald Ford and task force are rotated out.
Replacing that task force is the USS Bataan with 6,000 Marines on board .......
No ground troops? Wishful thinking ....

IDF Spokesman: "A tunnel was located with hostages in difficult conditions"
IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari referred to the war in Gaza.
Hagari said that "we located a tunnel in Khan Yunis that has hostages in harsh conditions, we will show the world the crimes of Hamas".

A Palestinian Islamist conducted a terrorist attack in Raanana in central Israel 2 hours ago.
He stabbed an elderly woman to death, stole her car and ran over 18 civilians, 8 of which were children who were leaving a school.

Sounds like Israel found a mass grave site of 21 hostages that Hamas killed in Khan Younis this morning.
"After digging up a cemetery in Gaza suspected of holding the bodies of missing Israelis (if the AJ reports are true) Israel took 21 bodies back to Israel for identification. Israel has not confirmed this particular detail of taking back 21 bodies."
Marina Medvin
Israel just released this:
“Last night, our fighters conducted a military operation at the Bnei Suhila cemetery, successfully rescuing 21 buried bodies and bringing them to Israel.”
At this point I suspect all of the hostages have been slaughtered by Hamas.

Israel assassinated Marwan Issa, the Deputy Chief of Hamas' Military Wing today in Rafah.

Not confirmed and there are many questions if it was him or not. Hamas says it wasn't him, for whatever that is worth.

Israel informs Egypt that it will enter Rafah and the Philadelphia axis, not on a permanent basis.
The Philadelphia axis is a strip of land between Egypt and Gaza. This likely means Hamas’ days are coming to a quick end as their underground supply tunnels are going to be unearthed and destroyed. Wouldn’t surprise me if the IDF’s engineering battalions moated most of it into the Mediterranean Sea

I've said it several times in this thread, and in other threads, but here is more proof:

The UN doesn't recognize Hamas as a terror organization. They work hand-in-hand with Hamas members in distributing aid. They do no vetting or background checks of the people they work with in Gaza. That is why when people say aid must be allowed into the Gaza Strip what they really mean is that aid must be given to Hamas.

10% or 1,200 of UNRWA staff work directly for Hamas
50% or 6,500 of UNRWA staff in Gaza have first-degree relative (parent, sibling, or child) who are members of Hamas

That means a combined 7,700 or 60% of the 13,000 staff of UNRWA in Gaza have connections to Hamas.
As a whole UNRWA has 30,000 staff
Out of the entire organization
4% work directly for Hamas
22% have first-degree relative (parent, sibling, child) who are members of Hamas
26% of UNRWA as an organization has connections to Hamas.

What we know so far:
- At least 13 UNRWA employees were directly involved in the Oct 7 massacre:
- 10 were Hamas terrorists, 2 were PIJ terrorists, 1 was unaffiliated
- 6 infiltrated Israel (5 Hamas + 1 unaffiliated)
- 4 were involved in abducting Israeli hostages, including 2 who infiltrated into Israel
- 3 (all Hamas members) were summoned to an assembly point the night before the attack and instructed to arm themselves with weapons
- At least 1 provided logistics support
- 1 set up a command room on Oct 8
- At least 2 freed Israeli hostages were held in the homes of UNRWA teachers; 1 was moved between hideouts through UNRWA facilities
- 1,200 UNRWA employees are members of Hamas or PIJ
- 50% of UNRWA employees in Gaza have first-degree relatives who are members of Hamas

I remember before the first round of aid that was let in that there had already been some rumblings about UNRWA and some of them posting some pro-Hamas stuff on social media or something, that some of them would get outed as straight up Hamas members who had or would take part in killing Jews. And here we are.

Not a great news day today for Israel. CNN is running a loop of drone footage provided to them by the IDF showing gazans functionally storming humanitarian trucks. Global News is largely reporting the deaths of over 100 civilians as a result of IDF opening fire. IDF appears to largely deny their actions triggered the trucks driving away and through the masses.
In the end it doesn’t matter and the damage to Israel is done by this story and these images dominating a news cycle. Israel is on a lonely island, and will lose its few friends if stories like this continue.
I said the following at the start of this thread and still firmly believe it.

I believe Israel will be less safe in the long run if it proceeds with a full scale invasion of Gaza. Break things in gaza. Make a kill list. Break more things. Reinforce your own borders and protection. There just isn’t an exit ramp to a full scale invasion that ends with Israel having fewer enemies.
Gaza is not an existential threat to Israel’s survival. But it can tremendously weaken Israel to a point of existential vulnerability. I truly fear Israel chokes on Gaza if it tries to eat it right now.
