I usually catch outlet sales or just watch on ebay/amazon for deals. be mindful of shipping costs if you go that route

ETA: I have the big saucepan, a large braiser with lid, 5.5qt dutch oven (this is a little small for me, but it was the Harry Potter one and my wife is obsessed), and 16qt stock pot.

I picked up a 7-quart enameled cast iron Dutch oven at Goodwill for $5 about 7 years ago. It's a no-name, but was in great shape and I've used it many, many times.

Got an enameled steel Merten & Storck brasier from Germany that cost many times more, and it works well too, though not better, except for one thing, it's a lot lighter than cast iron.
