All you guys bailing out in your fifties, how the heck are you pulling off healthcare expenses? You all have military or gov't benefits?

I'm 56 and have been tossing around the idea of quitting my job, but paying for health insurance for 9 years until medicare kicks in scares me from doing it.

some guys, if they don't have Tricare, will pick a desired retirement age and maybe tack on a year or so with the income budgeted strictly for this

59 retiring dec 31 2023........wife is doing the same. we purchased a class b van earlier this year and plan to start wandering around

If you plan properly you can get subsidized obamacare plans for cheap as hell.

Used COBRA for a time then recently moved to Obamacare. Will see how that works.

Neither but work for a refinery. Can keep my work insurance through 65.
