re: Since bears have been in the news lately. Have you ever seen one

Came across a grizzly fishing a creek in Alaska. I look to my right and see a grizzlies head poked out of the bushes staring at me. Very tense situation. He was trying to cross and we were in his way. He eventually went around us. But when got back to the plane and took off after that encounter, we saw 6 more in the area we were fishing.

Black bears I’ve seen quite a bit. I grew up next to wekiva state park here in FL and they roam the neighborhoods. Pretty cool. Except when they get in your trash.

I live closer to the city now so don’t see them as much but we’ve had a few spotted recently.
