Gaetz's theater marginalizes that effort.

The House GOP had agreed on going to negotiations with the Senate using an 8% cut in spending as the starting point. It wouldn't have ended there, but there would have been something. Now we got nothing.
Here's the White House rebuttal to the 8% cut.
