In the 3-5 months following Covid settling in we saved so much money, meanwhile my company went through a massive layoff and I was promoted.
Confidence was off the charts, so I dropped ~30k on my wife's last student loan payment.
The purists will say I made a financial mistake, but I don't regret a single thing about that decision.
