And according to two separate D-1 V-ball players I asked when I was playing in rec leagues, the single best way to work on vertical is just jumping rope. There are other, specific exercises for jumping, but that's the one if you only do one.

None of the characteristics you mentioned are relevant here. She performs well enough in these areas. She has been relegated to Full Time JV status and is a Junior. This is all being done because she is being singled out by the psycho coach. For what reason, I am not privy to.
I do indeed thank you for the suggestions and will pass them on, but this is all on the head coach. Doesn't like my granddaughter for reasons I have not been able to discern
