Lots of great advice, thanks. A lot of people have good things to say about the Weber Summit Komodo. Expensive, but I plan on using the grill a lot for a long time. So I suppose that is what I am going to do.
I will look into this Spider Venom thing for later.
If you're going komado, then consider the Primo XL above the Summit.
Oh and just an FYI. Double check and make sure the Venom would fit the Summit. It may not.

One other thing. The Slow n Sear is a great option on the Weber Kettle and I believe they make one for the Summitt, as well.
It sets up for two zone cooking, and you can use it for low and slow cooks, as well. It never leaves my kettle.

I disagree. I have a ceramic cooker and wish I would have bought the summit Kamado. The ceramics are extremely heavy and fragile. I know of two people who shattered their ceramics when they tipped over while moving them. $1500 gone in the blink of an eye.

Not even sure the Summit needs a temp controller. I haven't used a temp controller on mine since I've owned and can maintain 225-250 for hours on end with no babysitting at all. I go to sleep all the time and wake up and it is still within range of my target temp. Once it is locked in, it doesn't budge at all.
