I'm planting in Winn and Jackson parishes tomorrow. Maybe get some rain next week.

Update on my cowpeas planted Sunday.

We got a solid rain this past Wednesday. All was looking well until last night when hogs came through. I knew they were in the area but hadn’t had pictures of them in over a year.

They stayed in the plot for about 4 hours heads to the ground. I’m assuming all my planted pleas are now gone. Bought some another bag of bluffs seed to replace.

Gah damn I hate hogs

I’m in Winn a little east of you. We are roughly 20 inches behind annual rainfall averages. It’s terrible.
