Anyone near the Port Gibson area? We’ve had 1” inch of rain since July 14th. Got a 1/4 inch today. We’ve spread lime on all of our plots but can’t disc it in. No rain in the forecast and models don’t show any rain through Oct. 27th. Have no idea when we are going to plant.

Da Hammer and I are both near Port Gibson. Did we only get 1/4 inch? I'm looking at one map that says we got 1/4 and another map that says we got a full inch. It basically drizzled with occasional showers for about 8 hours. I'm just curious how much actual rain reached the ground.

I have a logger working in a creek bottom at the foot of a big hill. Like 600 yards straight up. He said he was able to work until about 2 pm until it was too slick to get log trucks up the hill.

We planted over the past 10 days or so. Maybe this will be enough???

We are right off of 548 in Hermanville. In laws live there. 1/4” rain is what we got by us.
