The way I see it, there was only one acceptable way to handle the situation, assuming our kicking unit is not a trainwreck, which it isn't. After the first down, let the play clock run to nearly zero, then kneel it. If you need Daniels to get it to a preferred spot for the kicker (e.g., dead center), then he can do that. Run 40 secs off playclock and kneel it again. Do this on 2nd and 3rd down. You can use one of your three timeouts to get everyone organized to execute on this plan and make sure everyone is on same page (lets say you do this after the first down), and you use another of your two remaining timeout on 0:01 for the kick. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Agreed.
BK's approach last night was not perfect. But is was neither disgraceful, disastrous, nor dangerous. Acceptable, but not excellent.

What about punching in a td? Go up 7 and make the other team go the length of the field and have to score a td, in under a minute. That’s not terrible. Youre as likely to miss a fg as you are to give up the 80 yard drive.
Or maybe you run some clock and then punch it in on 3rd with timeout and fg option on 4th if needed. (that’s what I would have done) . Like I said, several decent options. Don’t act like Les miles just clocked the ball on 4th down or something that level.
