Unfortunately, a 4 day work week is not really feasible for me, but I work from home so I'm fine with it.

It's not for me either. We'd have to be staffed during those 8 hours, so we'd have to hire more people and have slightly different schedules (some people off Monday, others Friday etc). It sounds nice but there's a 0% chance my company would eat that extra cost

I have a 4 day work week with a rotating day off that I can move around with a little notice. Every 3 weeks I get a 4 day weekend without using PTO. Been here a little over 2 years and love it
It’s always tough to take your serious posts seriously, seriously.

Looking at your avatar always leaves me like….

9/80 schedule is where it’s at. Every other Friday off. Opposite Fridays the office is only half occupied so you can actually get shite done.

My sister works 9/80 and loves it. She is considered alternate Friday so only about 30% of the office is there. She gets TONS of stuff done on Fridays.

If you're a salaried employee at the Valero Refinery in Norco, you get a 5-10's schedule and they'll tell you you're lucky it's not more. Then we want two percent of your pay for United Way.

I work 17 days on 14 days off. It’s alright

Catch is I’m away from home for those 17 days.

Would be a split of people who think the pay should be reduced as well, but if the same productivity is being met at 32 hours as it was at 40, does it matter? Are we pad for our time or for our production?

If you’re producing 32 hours of work working 40 hours a week, you should be terminated.
