Any of the Mel Gibson movies will do. I'd pick Passion of the Christ and argue that the bible is a work of fiction for its inaccuracies

Disclaimer: It would just be for giggles.

The Gladiator would be another good one. But, about the only thing accurate about that movie was that there was war against Germanic tribes, Ceasers, and Gladiators.

Check out Breaker Morant. It's about the Boer War. Pretty cool.

Here's a good website to find a movie. Looks fairly up to date.

Sometimes it pays to pick a random, obscure, off-the-wall movie that your teacher has never seen. They either have to go find it and watch it, or take your word for it.

Breaker Morant is a great movie. I like the idea of choosing a fairly obscure, yet great movie. Check out Gallipoli or Zulu. Great movies, and fairly accurate. Though Zulu leaves out the rather important fact that the British had a Gatlin gun and just mowed down the Zulus.

I'm pretty sure the new Tom Cruise movie "Valkyrie" would be a good one to choose because you'll have a good bit to write about his character in how the movie depicts him and how things were historically.
