Saints safety Marcus Maye has been suspended without pay for the next three games for violating the NFL Policy on Substances of Abuse.

You know why not just suspended him at the start. Not two games in.

Luckily Jordan Love sucks. I'd be worried about Mac Jones lighting us up in Week 5

Mac Jones is the least of our worries against the Pats

I’m not 100% certain we can score against their defense if it is healthy.

Is that consistent with other DUI suspensions?

Next man up. Safety play is the weakesr spot on the D, so we may get pleasantly surprised while he's out.

At least is “missed tackle” tally won’t increase while not playing for 3 games.

Are you seriously unfamiliar with how good a healthy Pats defense is?

They gave up 25 to the Eagles and 24 to the Dolphins. What are we basing this insane healthy defense off of? Last year?

Bill's defenses are usually good, but not always. There have been several years they downright sucked in yards (matters less), and a few they were middle of the pack in points allowed.

Each year is different. They haven't shown anything so far this year to suggest they are elite.

Out of the 25 they gave up to the Eagles: 7 was on an INT return. 6 was directly after a fumble. The Eagles had a 26 yard TD drive after the fumble. So the Pats D realistically only gave up 12 legitimate points in that game. At one point, they forced 4 three and outs in a row, which was the first time a Hurts Eagles team had that kind of ineptitude on offense in a long time. Their coach was pissed after the game.

Giving up 24 to the Dolphins wasn’t bad. They gave up 7 after halftime. Also, the Dolphins do have a better offense than us.

I am mainly just saying that Im more concerned about their defense, than Mac Jones. I tend to think that the game is going to be a low scoring defensive slugfest.
