I thought it was suspicious that the Saints being up 11 with the Panthers not being able to move the ball all night, we go into the softest prevent I’ve ever seen & not even playing the sidelines letting them catch easy passes and keep going out of bounds the whole way down the field ending the drive with an easy 2 point conversion moving within 3 so the panthers could cover the spread saving Vegas a ton of money because the bets were heavy on the Saints.

Well, DA is a good actor then. He looked pretty pissed when they gave up that catch to Mingo.

Just interested Pauly. Was it under league instructions the other 15,000 or so times a team has given up late points with a big lead by playing prevent? Sorry you lost your bet, I’ve been there as well.

There’s a correlation between bad grammar and low intelligence.

There’s a correlation between low intelligence and believing in conspiracy theories.

There isn't a Bigfoot. Lochness monster doesn't exist. We did go to the moon. The earth isn't flat. Lee Harvey did it. The Panthers, another bunch of professional football players, scored a legitimate TD.

The Saints were in prevent defense designed to make the other team run clock to score.

The intent was to have just enough remaining time for the Saints to run out the clock after recovering an onside kick.

If the Panthers recover the kick, you limit what they do with the ball with less remaining time.

I don't like the strategy but it is a typical strategy given the circumstances.

My paranoia gets irrationally triggered every time I lose a bet too.
Youre safe. Take a breath.

DUDE - check out this replay at the 26sec mark

LINK

There is a camera guy with bright yellow shoes and orange socks who is on the sidelines. Suspicious - because that is not NFL regulation footwear. Where did he come from? Who is he? How did he know to be be right there at that exact second? And then when the game is over - he disappears like magic.

Then as Mingo runs across the "grassy knoll" part of the red zone - he runs up and to the right - up and to the right - up and to the right. How do you explain that? Up and to the right. And if you play it in reverse - its left and back. See what I'm saying. How is any of this possible?

And why are players forbidden from talking about any of this in the postgame? I don't know if they are are aren't - but clearly they didn't and that's pretty suspicious. Can you say cover up?

Looking at the facts - i agree with Pauly D - something is going on here and EVERYONE seems to be a part of the conspiracy.

Does NFL management influence the refs to make favorable calls for certain teams? I believe so. Does Vegas influence refs and a large enough player pool to affect games? No, I don't believe so.

Take a look at the rams kicking a field goal as time expire down 10

Wanna guess what the line was?

Bit of a stretch, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Heard so many accusations about it over the years.
