No one was willing to pay the price for Buchnevich. He can be moved in the offseason when teams have more salary cap space. No one else had any trade value. Armstrong has an extra 2nd, 3rd, and 7th rounder in the draft. Bolduc and Dean were called up to inject some much needed youth.

LOL, stop listening to 101.1, jaime rivers, and stl sports anchors.

Army is crap, he built this flawed team, tore apart a cup winner, for zero reasons. He refused to give petro(not my fav guy) a no trade, but gives it to 2-3 mediocre dmen in krug, faulk, etc. LOL

He was fired in Dallas for being shitty, he's a mediocre GM, who got lucky Buffalo was dumping O'reilly, and the Oakville legend wanted to win a cup in St.Louis. Oakville legend went on to win 2 more rings.

A host from 101.1 did an actual fact check to see if Army could afford everyone and keep cup team together, he could have, but because he's clueless. Army thinks Kyrou is the future, LOL. He's a floater who will never sniff another cup.

8:12 has gone by in the first period.

Flyers and Rangers are currently scoreless.

I don't even listen to that station. The same team returned a year after the Stanley Cup. They fell flat on their face in the bubble. Change was needed. Armstrong made some bad moves, but he didn't "tear apart a Stanley Cup team for no reason". Every Stanley Cup team has turnover. It wouldn't matter if Pietrangelo was resigned or not. Other players would have still regressed or retired. And he wanted some bonus structure that would have mandated he get paid whether there was another work stoppage or not. If he wanted to return bad enough, he would have. Move on.

Stop the bullshite. Any other team could have traded for O'Reilly. No one else wanted him. You think Maroon is the only player to take less to come back home? Get real. It happens every year. That's not "luck". Any idiot with a functioning brain knew that team was built to win.

There's help on the way. Snuggerud posted another stellar season on Minnesota's top line without Cooley and Knies. Dvorsky racked up 40 goals in the OHL. Find something else to bitch about.
