re: Who's the most annoying office co-worker?

The guy who plays the audio on meetings on his laptop rather than using earbuds / headphones. Usually he's across the room in our mostly empty office so it's not too annoying. The other day the office was busier and he decided to sit alot closer to me. He was damned annoying. So I just started talking a tic louder during my many meetings.

At lunch he comes over and says, nervously, "Hey maybe you don't realize how loud you are when you're on a call, can you please keep your voice down".

I said, "What's your name?"

He said, "Richard".

I said, "Tell you what, Richard, you quit playing your meetings on your laptop audio and I'll try to keep my voice down".

He was stunned at my comeback. He promptly moved and I haven't heard from him since.
