Most stadiums don’t have a river in one direction where traffic flow is restricted.

This is about bussing in a large majority of fans from outside of the general area that are not interested in tailgating.
If you want to have big tailgates, then leave your vehicle there and lock your shite. Park a separate vehicle at a designated location.
The lanes can ONLY be designated for busses during a certain time before the game and after the game. That’s the only way it works. You could use contra flow much more effectively. Make no mistake, traffic sucks at most SEC venues that I’ve been to where there are big games.
My issue is where the buses pick up and drop off. I’m not familiar with open areas off of campus that could be used for parking.
There are trains and busses that takes us to the Texans games for people who don’t tailgate. Traffic is crap for those that do and we are by a major interstate (610).

It’s all about the people that write big checks.
So the big money people have a special road to get home and not have to sit in traffic?

It's a college football game not Disneyland.

I sent an email about my traffic experience after the game and someone followed up with me to ask for more information and clarification.
I also did the postgame survey and told them to pay out DJ Mike's contract and move on cause that shite was embarrassing.

Yeah where everyone’s saying “Go! Hey what’s the quarterback’s name this year? Why aren’t they scoring more?!?”

It’s not the boosters or any of us fans. It’s all TV money. The boosters aren’t treated any differently than most any fan. They may have better seats which they deserve but they sure as hell don’t have a police escort out of the stadium. It’s TV money. The game starts and ends when TV says so. It’s not going to get better. We’ll have Th night games, maybe Wednesday night games before you know it.
The traffic could be better but most of th policemen are on their cell phones playing video games or something instead of directing traffic has been my observation.

You have to know where the best place to park is based on where you have to go after the game. It’s not that difficult. I have no issues leaving these games unless there’s actual accidents on the interstate or highways.
Agreed. I’ve had to update my parking habits over the years based on updated traffic patterns, but I don’t find the traffic to be that bad. I park south of the stadium and live in NOLA. Contraflow on Burbank works well, although they had shut it down this Saturday before I left.

Boosters and fans are the same
If you buy any ticket from LSU you are considered a booster

If you’re willing to walk a little bit and you know where to park, the traffic isn’t that big of a deal. I’d tell you where to park but if enough people learn where to park then the convenience of it is gone.
I don’t know why you’d be stuck in a traffic after a 72-10 game, but that’s an avoidable scenario.

Traffic a handful of times per year. It's the biggest pussy excuse around.

If you’re referring to traffic, it will never get better until Baton Rouge gets out of its own way and builds a 3rd bridge for the loop.
100k+ people in the same area is not good for traffic anywhere

Arkansas does the bus thing from a lot about a mile away. That worked flawless for us last year

What do you want from a fan experience standpoint?
I would love a cold beer. All the beer was hot Saturday. I got one or two “cool” beers but none were cold.
That’s my biggest gripe.

Went to at least 7 games at Neyland when living in ATL and never experienced the BS post game traffic of Tiger Stadium. Super easy to get out of and to hit the interstate. People can talk about streets not being adequate but much of it is incompetence.
Glad you posted that because I was about to post the same info, but since haven't been to Neyland lately, I thought I could be wrong.
Fifty years ago I visited Neyland, and like BR, leaving it took about two hours to get outside, since it is located close to downtown.
About twenty-five years ago they built an efficient rode system with easy exit and off ramps. Now in and out is efficient.
I don't expect that in BR in my lifetime.
