You wanna know what truly pissed me off Saturday? Sitting there for all those media timeouts… idk about anyone else, just seemed so long and excessive. No reason for that arse whopping to last 4 hours.

Has LSU gone to LED's yet?

I am coming around on them...

Seeing Alabama's light show is pretty darn cool...

it needs to be tasteful if done...

Attended NCState game on Saturday, their sound system was just right..not too loud, had great base...

They are installed they just didn't bust them out for Grambling. Saving for Arkansas. But you can see them on top of the stadium

This is going to sound terse, but, get over it. ESPN is paying a shitload of money for the rights to broadcast those games. Given people are continuing to drop cable (whereby even non-sports fans subsidize the cost of ESPN) ESPN is going to have to generate the revenue necessary to pay those contracts. If that means more commercials, that's what they will do. It's not really ESPN's concern if you attend the game or not. In fact, they'd probably be happier if you watched it on their network rather than go.

As long as the media rights deals keep increasing in value so will the means in which the networks will go to in order to generate revenue.

Understand how it works, just sucks that what the sport has come too. Everyone is talking about game day experience, to me, that is one of the biggest killers. Just all the dead time especially with this “emphasis” to speed up games
