Looking to buy a new front load washer (and dryer). We currently have a samsung that is 2 years old and i hate it.The current samsung leaves clothes smelling worse that when it was before washing. Yes we have cleaned it out regularly.
I am looking to invest in a different brand and would like to know any one's experience with other brands. I am leaning toward Maytag or whirlpool. Thanks for any input

Don’t do it.
Get a Speed Queen top load with agitator and knobs.

We have the GE set and love it so far.

Do you leave the door open when not in use? We bought one about a year ago and that was suggested to us from the store owner. No smell so far.

This board goes a little overkill on the front load hate imo. My 14 year old front-load whirlpool kicked the can last year and I replaced with current model whirlpool. It does the job - everything comes out clean and smells good. My wife likes the front loads because much more cu ft in the drum so you can do larger loads. Wipe down the gasket and leave the door open when not in use, run routine cleaning cycle every 2-3 months, NO fabric softener or smell-good waxy beads. Never had a problem with mold or smell ever.

Bought the front loading LG. Got so disgusted with the smell despite following all the recommendations I told my son to haul them out to the curb and pity the sucker that picked them up. Didn’t even keep them a year.

Speed Queen TC5 is what you should buy.

Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, LG in that order.
So much front loading hate and I do not understand.
