I think the CDC has “clarified” this and said they meant that this strain is more contagious to the vaccinated than previous strains. They are claiming they didn’t mean more contagious to the vaccinated versus unvaccinated, but more contagious to the vaccinated than prior strains were to the vaccinated.

Personally, it seems like vaccinated people keep getting COVID over and over while unvaccinated don’t get it as much. But that’s just anecdotal.

We test where I work. This current wave seems to be 99% sinus congestion and sore throat. While I do notice most of the people testing positive are vaccinated, there are plenty of people who decline testing and just want a steroid shot and cough meds. These people obviously have covid, but the unvaccinated dgaf about getting test every time they get the sniffles. If the vaccinated titbags didnt run for a test with every sniffle, the news would not have data to scream about.
