When are you guys good with ripping the bandaid off and getting the future his reps going forward?
An honest question
ETA: if you give me a realistic date with w vs l, I promise not to bitch about his ineffectiveness going forward

Next year it’ll be Nuss’s turn!

He has to be perfect or they'll demand he be benched. No mistakes allowed.

Thankfully we have lots of mistakes for comparison

When does Nabers quit on JD like Boutte did last year?

Nabers quit on JD last year. Threw his arse under the bus.
If the WRs don’t like his arse, why should I?

When he proves he’s no longer a turnover machine.
He’s got the arm and he can make all the throws. But until he shows he can consistently protect the ball, JD even with his flaws give the best chance to win.

Did Daniel’s allow FSU to score 31 points in the second half? There wasn’t a single drive in the second half that we stopped them

Are you paying attention. This loss had zero to with the defense, the play calling, the coaching scheme.
It was 100% on Daniels and no one else.

Stop saying this please. Tell me how last night he gave us the best chance to win please. Like man you are just beating a dead horse now. Even Ray Charles can see it now. EVERY TEAM THIS YEAR will crowd the line. The one trick pony is done. Cant disguise his arm anymore. It aint good.

He wasn’t even in the top 10 reasons why we lost last night.
The fact that you think it’s all on him shows how little you understand.

Answer a question for us….
When Nuss gets his shot do you automatically push for Rickie Collins or do you let Nuss play QB?
LSU the school where fans want the back up.

I am not an anti-Nuss guy but I do think JD was the right call for this season. I also think Nuss will do exceptionally well once he gets his shot though he also has some deficiencies he needs to correct (and may have this offseason).
You can kind of be a twat sometimes (like all of us here
) but I do think you are serious when you say honest question here. I'll tell you what I think BK may do rather than when I would be OK with it. I'll be OK with whatever they decide because something has to be different going forward (keep in mind I am not one of the guys calling for any changes based on one awful game) and if what that requires is a change of personnel, then so be it, even if it's right now.
I think the Moo State or Arkansas game will be the tell. If game one somehow turns out to be the anomaly and JD does what we had hoped through Arkansas, he keeps playing. If he is very good through Moo State but craps the bed vs Arky, I think you rip the bandaid off but not sure what the coaches will do. If JD shows no improvement or even looks tentative vs Grambling or early vs Moo State, it would not surprise me if BK makes the move then. I would be OK with that as well.
Those are my answers for what little they are worth
Parting shot for you

I’m not anti-Nuss, I think (or maybe just hoping) he’s a better passer and doesn’t hesitate on throwing as much, but feel JDs legs are needed for the o-line.
JD may not be the best QB, but is needed for what LSU has. Just like everyone knows Perkins is more effective when pressuring the QB, but he has to play where there is a larger void.
Recruiting misses is killing the team, just have to hope it isn’t so bad that it continues for more years.

Hope you right, baw. I just want to win regardless of who’s playing. I sucker up last years mediocre play (albeit surprising) thinking that this year would be a big step forward, and I just don’t see it.
Serviceable, maybe, adequate? Not likely.
