We have 24 commits and according to the On3 offer list, there's only 1 TE and 1 edge guy who seem to have LSU on their radar. No uncommitted big fish we seem to be going after like we usually are at this point in the process. I know it early (decommits, flips, etc.) but for someone who hasn't been able to keep up with recruiting much this year, seems like it's been a fairly quiet cycle, no?

The transfer portal seems to be the difference maker these days.

There will be more. Surely there will be decommits, flips, new kids emerging etc. Certainly the quietest recruiting has been to start a season in a long, long time. The board is as bare as its ever been. Sites are searching the depths of their knowledge for recruiting news to report. I'm sure there's a plan that we just arent privy to. Who would you believe anyway? Our insiders have been exposed this cycle.

A lot can happen between now and signing day. Coaches will be fired, teams will have bad seasons, 17 year olds will change their mind, etc. It will all work out.

Go back and look at most of LSU’s recruiting classes the past 10-15 years. Most people probably wouldn’t recognize half the names. It doesn’t truly matter yet, but I promise guys like Frank Wilson are still grinding away at it.

At this point, any new commits will either be late bloomer senior evals or flips

I'd imagine there will be a couple of Dylan Carpenter type offers handed out to in-state guys who pop this season.

It's barely September. You don't think things will change 3 months?

I have a feeling we land Gabriel Reliford before it’s all said and done. I think Terry Bussey has a stronger chance to commit here than others think.

Our Dline is way too thin for us to be done…BK knows that. We could use one more lineman as well

In terms of prospective players, the uncommitted guys left are Josh Lair and Devin Smith.

Then I think LSU will try their very best to flip Gabriel Reliford from A&M, Charleston Collins from Arkansas, and maybe some guys from teams that are looking poor during the year.
