Weird making a documentary about a guy that would barely make a list of top ten LSU running backs

I get what you’re saying, but you’re missing the point. The intrigue is that it’s a “what could’ve been” story from an incredible, albeit very small, sample size. Whether it was fault of his own, inadvertent such as Len Bias or unforeseen like Hank Gathers, it’s the unknown that’s fascinating. I was at the auburn game with an auburn grad buddy of mine. He looked me dead in the eye and said, “that’s the greatest I’ve seen since Bo.” Next to Joe B in the Peach Bowl, it was the greatest single game performance by a tiger I have ever witnessed live. The absolute waste of incredible god given talent.

He was a 3 game flash in the pan nothing more. Barely in the top ten of LSU running backs.

And many people enabled his misbehavior at a young age.

I remember a number of people from Leesville came out after he got in trouble and admitted they should have done more.

You must suck at fantasy football
I do pretty good - the trick I don’t choose running backs that average 3.2 yards per carry like Cecil Collins.

Cecil was a ridiculous talent! I also remember when Ally Broussard was talked up as the second coming of Cecil, then he fumbled on his very first carry.

Remember when he crapped in a co-eds shoe?
