Rent a house on St John.
ETA: And rent a Jeep and drive to a different beach every day. Drive out to Skinny Legs, etc.

Do you want to be able to walk to dinner, shopping and bars? Then stay in Cruz Bay at Grande Bay condos or at Gallows Point. Buses are easy and they'll take you to beaches.
If you want solitude but don't mind driving to most stuff then rent a house. I will say that the roads can be a bit difficult in places so have a sober driver.
Eat at Extra Virgin, Skinny Legs for lunch, Ocean 362, La Tapa, The Banana Deck. Morgan's Mango is pretty good but very touristy. St John Brewing not only has beer but an excellent root beer float.
It looks like ZoZo at Caneel Bay is open. Before Irma it was the best restaurant on the island. I can't speak for it now but if the chefs are the same it's going to be a damned good plate of food.
Take your passports. You can ferry to Jost Van Dyke for a day trip or charter a boat with a captain and choose your BVI itinerary. I'd do Jost, The Baths (Virgin Gorda) and the Willie T. Be forewared, the Willie T is a very raunchy bar and the later in the afternoon you're there the raunchier it gets. I happen to like raunchy.
If you charter a boat and just do St. John then have lunch at Lime Out which is a floating taco bar. The food is tacos but the experience is a lot of fun. There's also Pizza Pi, floating pizza restaurant only accessible by boat but it's closed during hurricane season.

We booked our house for July 2024 this past week. Our 14 yr olds love it.

The things I’ve seen and done at that bar. Met Sir Richard Branson there.
ETA: Thanks Soccerfut. I fat fingered it.

Not a very popular opinion, but we liked the beaches on st Thomas better. Magens bay and Coki were the most fun we had in USVI. We also ate at agave at red hook on st Thomas. Worth the ferry ride imo.

Autocorrect, I’m sure.
I was more interested in the prurient aspect.

Women getting naked and eating whipped cream off of each other on the bar. People climbing on the upper deck and jumping topless or naked into the water. That's where it starts and it degenerates from there. I've seen plenty of boats with kids or teens pull up and immediately leave when things start to get a little crazy.
