I've watched some Prime Video original garbage, but for the production costs of Rings of Power to be 250m was astounding. LOTR Return of the king cost under 100m. That's like college cost inflation with worse results.

Tolkien is my favorite author of all time. I love his works 10x more than I do Asimovs. Or pretty much any other author for that matter
But I was able to finish Rings of Power. I can't finish this. Foundation (at least in season one, but I can't imagine it getting back on track), broke from source more than Rings of Power did. Had you read Foundation, you'd definitely be calling it woke. The difference being though is that Foundation is probably a good sci-fi show where Rings of Power was a giant meh.
