Have you ever been to Orange Beach? Lawyer Billboards by some fellow with name I can't pronounce has more billboards than the Big 3 in Louisiana put together.....

Would not be shocked. Which is reason the Plaintiff bar is on level with used car salesman these days. Its just that we are not the only state with the problem of advertising attorneys. In a mere 15 years, the entire legal profession has changed, and aint changing back. Whether you and I like it or not.

The advertising is trashy and annoying but I don't think that is the real issue. Its our tort laws and how our courts operate that set us apart from everyone else.

Overstated.
You can say it's our population, who is willing to give big jury awards, but our tort system isn't anything special compared to other states for the most part. Hell, the latest tort reform gutted city courts, and nothing really changed.

I must respectfully disagree. I challenge anyone here to swear / state that after the last "tort reform" measures, a mere 3 years ago, your insurance went DOWN. That was precisely what it was supposed to do. Yet, again, Nothing changes. Its a simple talking point.
And, SFP is correct, its smart targeted marketing. I can't fault them for that. Just aint how my grand daddy practiced.
