The Tiger Cat is a heavy duty commercial. You don't need that.
A Scag Patriot is about the model you need.
That is the price point of the Grasshopper 125V 52" I got. If $8000 is too high, which it was for me, start shopping used ones. You can find some deals. I wanted the ruggedness and entry level commercial. I was tired of working on junk, I take good care of my stuff and wanted it to last many years.
So the models I was considering were
Bad Boy Maverick, Gravley ZT-HD, Grasshopper 125V, Scag Patriot, Spartan, and Hustler (don't remember the model).

Best deal is probably the Bad Boy. It might take some time but search for used ones that you want. You can find the occasional low hour for a decent deal.

You can find a used Bad Boy ZT Elite in like new condition for around 4000-4500. Agree with above poster, Bad Boy seems like a great value for the price. Deck thickness, engine options, serviceable hydrogear transaxles, etc - obviously depending on model. It’s been a minute since I’ve researched, but Bad Boy stood out at the time as long as you have a dealer/service nearby.
