Simple, they won title the last 2 years and haven’t lost a game in a while, don’t worry, before you know it they will be using the portal. I don’t understand why people like you hate on the portal. Do you not realize LSU would of been in rebuild mode until like 2026 without the portal. We have half our starting defense as newcomer veteran transfers this year. What the hell would this team do without them this year? It would be ugly man. We wouldn’t have any corners, the dline would be thin and we wouldn’t have an edge rusher or stud running the show at MLB. Georgia didn’t have to go through having half their roster leave. You realize they brought in 25 freshmen and 15 Transfers in 2023 class. We good on the offensive side of the ball. AA was a huge need filled on special teams and a much need playmaker. Diggs and Lunsford were just nice depth additions. We set on offense for the next few years and will get their on defense

There are some teams we arent going to be able to keep up with as far as NIL funds go. We seem to get more bang for the buck in the transfer portal where we can get players who have already proven they can play on this level at a high level.
We still need good recruiting classes but its not the end all be all that it use to be.
