Any way LSU plays Nebraska in a bowl game?

Probably not.

It would have to be the Independence bowl.

Yeah...and the way it's looking, Shreveport would be lucky to get ANYONE in that bowl. You know they'll be rooting hard for Auburn on Sat. That might be their only shot at an SEC.

LSU/Nebraska Indy Bowl

Actually, barring a complete meltdown against Colorado, it looks like Nebraska is going to the Gator bowl.

How's that possible?

Not unless they join the ACC and show up in Atlanta for the Chik Bowl.

Thanks to Notre Lame losing, that helped the cause. Also, I know some Husker season ticket holders that are looking at going to Jacksonville.

Agreed. Arkie will blow us out. Unlike LSU, they used their rebuilding year to actually improve over the course of the season. We wasted ours with intra-squad bickering and coaching staff nepotism. So, next year, we'll be in exactly the same situation we are right now. Nowhere. Arkansas, already better than us at this point in this season, will be a shite ton better than us next year.

Doubtful. I think a higher bowl takes us, but have no clue why they would.

Beats the hell out of me. Why would they want us, why would we want to play ANY bowl game with this pathetic excuse for a team, why would anyone want to go see it, why would any TV network want to televise it, why bother at all?
No idea.

I think we could beat them. I haven't seen too many other bowl matchups I'd feel as confident about.

Here is the only possible scenario:
LSU loses to Ark.
Aub. has to beat Bama or FSU beat UF and Bama beat UF in title game (there has be enough SEC teams to make to the I-Bowl's 8th selection from the SEC). If Auburn wins it gives the SEC 9 teams, which should be enough and if UF loses to FSU and Bama it would probably keep the SEC from getting two in the BCS (of course you would probably need UGA to lose to Ga. Tech as well).
Then LSU would be 7-5 and Aub 6-6, under this scenario the Liberty and I-Bowl would have to make an agreement because under the selection rules the Liberty could not pass on a 7-5 to take a 6-6, without an agreement.
Of course all this is assuming that Nebraska gets just absolutelyl BLOWN OUT against Colorado this weekend and somehow all the other Big 12 bowl tie-ins pass on them (not likely).
Thats the long answer.
The short answer is NO.
