I was always thinking about it but never watched Hell on Wheels. How many good seasons of Hell on Wheels? Were they all good or did it drop off at some point? May watch it now.

I actually just watched this a few weeks ago. Still have the last 2 episodes left in the series.
IMO, the first 2 seasons were damn good, then it kind of tails off. Still, not a bad watch after the first 2 seasons, but those 2 were so good, the rest of the series seemed very "meh" in comparison, IMO.
Also, it has Dominique McElligott

DVD Netflix is about to pass away. I am considering spending the last month getting Hell on Wheels DVDs. Although I won't be able to get the entire series. I will have to buy the last 3 seasons if I want to watch the entire series but I am definitely in the mood for watching a good western series. And Dominique is definitely a treat for the eyes.

I was looking for one as well and that's when I came across Hell on Wheels. I don't watch very many shows or movies though, so take my opinion of it with a grain of salt.
If Tubi is an option for you, the whole series is on there for free.

As mentioned it is on Tubi with commercials for free, it is also on AMC+ so even if you don't want commercials a month (or two) of AMC+ is a lot cheaper than buying 3 seasons.

Interesting premise that ultimately turns into a whole lot of nothing each episode.

First few seasons were great. The later seasons would have been better if they had just let a certain character die instead of continuously bringing him back.

Enjoyed til the end. Last season was worse.

The series went downhill towards the end. I never finished the final season because I was worried they were going to have a crap ending that ruined it for me. Anson Mount was awesome as Cullen Bohannon.

Very underrated show.
One of the few series I’ll go back and re-watch from start to finish. The start feels low budget, but as the seasons progress the quality gets much better.
The clash between Bohannon and The Swede may be one of the best for a hero-anti hero matchup.
The ONLY real problem I have with the series is how they wrote Common’s character Elam. It was over the top and not really believable.

Bear in mind, I live in the boondocks with satellite TV and sat internet with 20 gb data caps. So all that smart tv stuff requiring unlimited data caps has been off limits. However I have been looking at some other options. I may yet be able to access smart tv stuff.
