I mean it's obvious football will eventually break away and become teams associated with schools instead of part of the schools themselves.

Don’t really see that happening unless congress decides to insert themselves into NIL. I thinks it’s more realistic to have football branch off into an independent sport not governed by the NCAA.

for football to separate from Title IX completely they would, however, not be able to receive any public funding. A lot of programs simply wouldn't be able to afford to do that.
