How much is the shed/shop cost? I can’t imagine only having 100k in equity in my primary residence and owning an RV worth enough to necessitate a shed to protect it.
Around 50-60k. It’s more of a pavilion style rv cover for my property in grand isle. I’m just looking at all available options that are out there really. After seeing 8-10% heloc rates, that’s definitely out.

Have you contacted the manufacturers or retailers? I would not count them out at all, they can often offer competitive rates. A Heloc is almost unbeatable most of the time, but the retailer may have a dang good rate and something like 12 months no interest or whatever.

I don’t know what you are looking to pay but I would also consider a good downpayment.

I was thinking it was for RV storage at your house. If it’s on Grand Isle, you could be throwing 60k away if a hurricane hits. Is the RV parked there permanently or is a pull behind/5th wheel that you typically keep at the house?
