this lie can no longer be supported. if it were true then the regular FBI agents would be arresting the DC upper brass and putting them in jail
there is no more, its just the bad apples doing it, its corrupt from top to bottom, the complacent no longer get a pass

Appointed positions, yes.
Guys out in the field? Maybe corrupt, but not politically corrupt. More like the skim the drug bust corrupt.

One of my buddies works there. And the stuff he tells me is just crazy. He has eight months until retires and for last couple of years he has just been hushed and sent home to work his remainder time at home. lol. The people is charge only want to hear what they want to hear and push you out if you tell the truth he says.

I can't speak to every agent, but the one charged with monitoring my activities is quite nice. I only get the occasional body cavity search and she is quite gentle.

I understand why you and others make the distinction. But upper brass are not the ones knocking on doors and harassing people for their politics. Blindly following orders/looking the other way is not an excuse. Field agents are just as complicit.
