Was hoping for either Myles Jack or Cunningham. Eagles signed both. Rich get richer.

It ain't 2018 anymore. Those boys are used up.

Why'd you want them?

Jack has recorded 100+ tackles each year for the past 3 years. Hes not great, but hes productive

Cunningham can't cover worth a shite and Jack is constantly out of position but has speed to recover and make the tackle 5 yards after he was supposed to. Neither are anything to cry over.

100 tackles isnt the end all be all measure for LBs. Teams ran right at him a lot...and absolutely abused him in the passing game.

He made the right move financially to switch from RB, but he just cannot shed blocks or cover TEs.

think people forget stephone anthony
112 tackles as a rookie

Why?

Out of position and was ran directly at each time.

PFF gave him a grade of 38 (76/86 qualifying LB). I recognize not everyone puts value into PFF, but that's damning IMO.

Does he still have that speed?

Knew him by name only bc I never really watched Jax (or Pitt) games. Was he always chasing the play, so while getting 100+ tackles a year, most were 5+ yards down the field?

One is 27 and the other is 28. Yiu say that while we start a linebacker that’s in his mid 30s….

They’ve both started a ton of games so woukd be nice insurance at spots that are needed.

He's at the peak of his career currently. I'm not referring to their ages, I'm referring to when they were last viewed as good linebackers. I wouldn't hate them as backups as long as they're still serviceable. 100 tackles isn't a metric anyone really cares about anymore. Stephone Anthony is the perfect example of that.

You’re out of your mind if you aren’t ECSTATIC to be starting that mid 30-something linebacker on this team. He’s quite possibly the best MLB in the history of the organization. (Yes. I know about the dome patrol)

Umm no he’s not. He’s still good but his peak was a few years ago. I can see the difference even last year. Will only go down with age. Father Time is undefeated.

He's the best I've seen at middle LB for the Saints and I am a HUGE Sam Mills fan.

I meant Demario Davis.
