A ton of tickets still available. Very little of the theatre has sold. They dropped the cost of upfront floor seats by 20 dollars.

They are playing Dos Equis Pavillion(Starplex) in Dallas which hold 20K people next week. TONS of tickets still available. You can get 3rd row from the stage for $31 plus fees. That is unheard of in this day & age for such a close seat. I'm still trying to figure out why they booked them in such a big place.

Down for 45 dollars for the first few rows for the River Theatre. If the show was today they would be playing to maybe 350 people

I will have to have someone explain the appeal of govt mule to me. I’ve seen them play at festivals a few times and they damn near put me to sleep
Warren Haynes can play I’ll admit but their songs are terrible and their vibe is lackluster

I am huge fan but I became one back when they were a bit younger and their style of play was a little harder than it is now. Their style changed when Woody passed

MULE is best during jazzfest when they bring out all the guest musicians. check out there shows on nugs from previous jazzfest.

ABB will always be my first love. I'm one of the few who like the 1990s ABB better than the original.
When Warren and Woody left for full-time Mule, I was on. But when he was touring w/ Further/The Dead, I totally lost interest in his style/music.
They're coming to Charlotte and I've been asked twice if I'm going... I just can't listen to his voice anymore. And his guitar playing is boring AF.

I honestly would have guessed you liked Mule based on some other musical opinions I’ve seen from you.
They’ve slipped a little over the years, but that can be expected when they started out as a hard-charging, heroin addicted three piece writing anti-establishment songs.
Somewhere along the way the vibe changed.

Blind Man in the Dark
Broke Down on the Brazos
When they did Brazos, recorded at Willie’s Pedernales Studio, Haynes felt like it had a ZZ Top vibe and brought in Billy Gibbons… I actually interviewed Warren for a Where Y’at pre-Jazz Fest album review I did for By A Thread. He said he brought in Gibbons and they “squared off with a couple Les Paul’s”… ha… big dogs get to eat every now and then.
I still have the interview with him recorded on a little hand held device. I was 27.
Thorazine Shuffle - Jason Newsted, GPJ, Dave Schools on bass
