Yes. The offense seems to click better sometimes when he's out.

That's not what I mean. I would always prefer to have Bush in there. It's just that at this very moment, the offense is playing well. I'm worried a little that his re-entry into the lineup will screw up the current chemistry.

But I'm not suggesting that his absence in the lineup has anything to do with how well the offense is playing right now.

No. Bush is a playmaker and only helps the offense when he's on the field.

The issue is Payton force feeding him the ball at times. Not Bush's fault IMO.

However, I really like what I've seen from P.Thomas. Haven't been able to actually watch many games live this year. He's more explosive than I thought he was. Definite keeper.

I guess that's my concern. I don't want Payton running Bush 1-12 times up the middle next week. Pierre had one run in particular where he slid threw the hole and gained 4 yards, and I immediately thought "Bush would have lost 2 on that play."

Of course, Bush is a huge playmaker and if it wasn't for Payton's insistence on making him the featured RB, I would always want him on the field.

They way I see it is, with Drew leading this team, and spreading the ball around like he does, it would be hard for any one guy to mess up the offense.

Talk about misusing commas in one sentence!

thomas should start, bush should catch passes. I feel thomas is very competent at catching the ball also. he seldom drops any and he is avg 9 something per catch. that 5 ypc is what i really like though.

exactly---don't force him....I'd much rather use him as a decoy if you will at this point, with a big play here and there!

I think PT and Bush could be the perfect combo just like Deuce and Bush were. I love Deuce, but I just don't know how much longer he'll be able to go.

yeah, he can carry a pile, but just doesn't seem to have the speed to hit the hole like he used to....he's still got something in the tank, but is running a little low on fuel.

for tampa, being bush's first game back, i say play him in the slot, receiver out of the back field for most of the game.

I agree but i just dont see it happening. Bush is a special player that doesn't come around very often and the Saints are lucky to have him, but at the same time they are 3-1 without him and everything seems to be clicking. Am excited to get Reggie back on those punt returns though.

I can't wait to see Reggie running punts back instead of Moore. Moore is a great reciever but a big puss when returning punts
