I'm sure it's already been discussed, but I wasn't able to watch the game Saturday, and I'm not going to put myself through the pain of watching the replays on CSS, so can someone tell me if the crowd stayed through the entire game Saturday, or was there an early mass exodus?

Thanks,

It was an excellent crowd, worthy of an SEC game, and most tried to stay until it was very obvious the game was out of reach, right around 8 minutes. We left at that time too, only out of hunger for more jambalaya...mostly the crowd was loud and supportive, and I was surprised more didn't show their arses and boo Lee, that would have set me off big time. Good crowd, packed house.

the coaches gave up with about 11 minutes left in the game down 15 points.

the playcalling showed.

good crowd...most stayed until the end or very late in the game....

as expected in any day game against a mediocre team, there was not much noise...

the crowd was fine, in fact the crowd kept trying to get into it but LSU never did catch a break - i think as far as the emotion of the game goes trindons punt return being called back took a good bit out of the crowd

It was half filled with Ole Miss people so at least half kept rocking til the end......

P.S. I've never been more disappointed with LSU fans dumping their tickets to the visiting fans. I sit in the SEZ corner, and I've never seen the amount of visiting fans as I did on Saturday. It was completely embarassing.

A lot of people left middle of the 4th. I stayed until about 2min left in the 4th. I tried to stay the entire game but I ran out of liquor and I wanted to beat down the ole miss fan in front of me (I followed him out-shame he stayed in the stadium).

i stayed till the end.

the stadium seemed pretty full for most of the game and i was happy about that. although i think a large reason most stayed was to watch jordan jefferson play.

i was disappointed in how loud we were though. i thought the ole miss fans were louder than our fans. and it was really pissing me off.

Yeah, I know I was the only one yelling in my section - every time I started yelling 10 or 15 people behind me did to but that's about it. I was in the SW side.

I thought the crowd was very good & stayed in the game, which was hard to do given the way the team played. They tried to pump up the team all game...

My row on the Lower westside was completely empty by the 10 minute mark in the 4th qtr.

If a person tried to give tickets away and no one wanted them would a true tiger fan give the tickets to Ole Miss fans or throw them away?

stadium eventually filled up close to full midway through the first. Starting in the 3rd, people started leaving. The expensive, gold seats along the sidelines emptied first and too early. By the last half of the 4th, the stadium started getting very empty, but that was expected. A LOT of students stayed though. I was surprised by how long they did. Atmosphere sucked. It never got loud, not even the first drive by Ole Miss. Nobody was into it.

I'd just like to point out, there really wasn't a whole lot to get loud about on that first drive.

true, but the first few plays should always be loud, and there were some big 3rd downs early in the game when the crowd never stepped it up.

Probably has a lot to do with the fact that Ole Miss had a lot more to cheer about.
