After years of us getting shitty seats in visiting stadiums, I'm glad we are doing the same to opposing fans in Tiger Stadium.

What was your rank? I am one row below you.

I'll be in the Alabama employee section. Wife works there and we got employee season tickets just to go to this game. Lucky for us Alabama's home schedule is loaded and we are selling the Texas, Ole Miss, and Tennessee tickets.

Believe it or not I am in the 750 range. Certainly I would have thought I would have done better. What is your rank?

I have to say that I think that is messed up. I remember when all visitors were in the lower sections of Tiger stadium. I also remember going to away games which had given us good seats.

The games were more intense when the opposing fans were all concentrated in an area of the stadium close to the field.

I get why the SEC schools now do what they do, but that does not mean it is right.

678 when I locked in. Ridiculous. LSU said 650 was last to get lower seats.

So they launch everyone to row 30something afterwards in uppers? Not even a low row? Nice.

Well LSU does not get any super low rows in the upper deck, but it appears they put you on the top row of the joint. That is not good on LSU and sucks if you barely missed the cutoff for lower level.

We got some in the lower bowl on the 35. Pretty pricey but not as bad as I thought.
It’s my first ever away game.

I’ve been to gumpville probably about 8 times. It’s not worth getting tickets through LSU and sitting in the nosebleed there, just have to suck it up and pay up on StubHub to get lowers

Row 28

Top row is 31

I don’t remember asking for four tix, but I got four. I also only have two season tix.

Eff my life, though I did get 6 tickets.

What is hard to accept is that I requested Bama tickets for someone in 2015, and they were in the same area at the top of the stadium. I was ranked between 2000 and 2500 at the time. Now I am 750+ and still got the same location.

I suppose demand for this game is much higher than previous years.

I don't understand it either. Put in for 4 here. I already dumped them and will get others.

And for the comment about LSU not getting allocated low rows, agreed, but I imagine they have more than the last 2 rows available. Hard for me to believe that what I received was the "best available" after lowers were gone.

Lmao! And you got 4 and a lower row! That's awesome. Yet doesn't surprise me.

This isn't just at Alabama. Tickets bought through LSU for away games, SEC Championship, playoffs or bowl games, unless you're in the $million donor category, will almost always suck. If you're spending the money to travel for an otherwise enjoyable experience, go ahead and pay up to buy from an online ticket service or pregame street scalper.

Proud Row 31 occupier here. Went in 2009. Told my daughter (Freshman at LSU at the time), in between puffs of O2, when Chuck the Truck broke his collar bone we might as well begin our descent to the tree line.
