But you are sort of missing the point of my OP, as it wasn't really meant to say how great Tate is. I was simply contrasting his message with the normal, watered down message coming from most American churches these days.
I wish the Church could discuss the issues he's willing to discuss. But instead they would rather give a feel good, Ted talk about how you need to be nice all the time.

In the infancy gospel of Thomas found at Nag Hammadi, Jesus kills like 3 random kids and strikes blind some of their neighbors.
