How can I keep stone border bricks in place

We are making a circular edging with rocks in the middle.
Should I drill a hole on the bottom of each and put a pin in that would go into the ground?
We don’t want to bury the bricks any.
We cut the whole outside part of the weed barrier flush with the stone pavers

Mortar them together or lay down a grout bed to set them in. If you do a grout bed them do a 4" gravel sub base. You could also use an edger restraint.

Hhhmmmm I suppose grass can grow right up through that edger?

It’s just sand right now. Trying to decide between drill the brick or use the edger.

100% use edger. Then grass around it.

You can trow a thin layer of concrete and cover with dirt and sod. There is a product called permaedge.
