For the younger fans on this site, it can’t be overstated how much the game has changed. Today’s game is very exciting, and every player mentioned so far was a great player, but the change for 1958 to today is profound. It used to be a test of strength and endurance. It still is today, but back then the same eleven players, would stay on the field for the entire game. My first real memories started in the mid to late sixties.
